My Way Home captures a moment from my daily bicycle commute: the sky suddenly darkens, a heavy rain cloud closes in, and there is nowhere to hide. It is a scary, dangerous moment, and also a humbling one. The sculpture holds both the threat of the storm and a deep respect for the force of nature that, for a few minutes, decides how you get home.
